Slow Cook Savory Beef Sandwiches

Where’s the Beef?

No time to cook but want a hearty meal that's ready for your family when the work and school day is done? Turn on the crock pot & serve up some tasty shredded beef sandwiches. The beauty of this recipe is the fast prep time. After all the ingredients are mixed, you can essentially walk away – letting dinner cook while you are off taking on the day!


Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 8 to 10 hours


1 3 to 5 lb. brisket of beef
1 t. salt
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 bottle of barbecue sauce of choice
1/2 t. liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 t. paprika
1/2 t. dry mustard
8 to 10 sandwich rolls


Place brisket in a crock pot and brush with the liquid smoke flavoring. Combine the salt and spices and rub into the brisket. Add bottle of barbecue sauce. Cook on low in crock pot for 8 to 10 hours. Before serving, remove meat from pot using two forks to pull meat apart. Return and mix with juices and sauce, serving on toasted sandwich rolls.
